The embedded PC in the Robotino controls the mobile robot system.

Assembly and connection

The embedded PC is mounted directly on the main PCB in the control unit of the Robotino. It is connected to the control unit's interfaces and the microcontroller.

The Robotino Premium Edition includes an embedded PC SOM-5788 with an Intel® Core™ I5-520E processor supplied by Advantech.

The Robotino Basic Edition includes an embedded PC SOM-6763 B1 with an Intel® Atom™-D525 processor supplied by Advantech.
