Function

The electric gripper is fully integrated into the Robotino 4 platform, so there is no need to monitor collisions with the gripper while driving. The gripper recognizes workpieces between the gripper jaws by means of an integrated light barrier. A slide is integrated to pick up a workpiece from a supporting surface, the Robotino 4 signals the optimum position for the gripping process. The end positions of the gripper are checked by evaluating the motor current.
