Function

The two PCI express slots on the Robotino make it possible to integrate expansion cards for individual applications.

In order to install an expansion card, remove the cover from the control unit and insert the card into one of the two slots. Before buying expansion cards, check to make sure that adequate installation space is available in the control unit on the Robotino.

If required, an additional power supply is available for expansion cards. Connections with 12 and 3.3 V (max. 100 mA), as well as an ATX connection, are provided.

Note: Before removing the cover, the seal on the base of the control unit must be opened. When removing the cover, be sure not to damage any of the control unit's electronic components or drop any objects onto the main PCB.
