Function

Up to 4 lithium-ion high-performance rechargeable batteries from Festool connected in parallel supply the Robotino with 18 V DC with a battery life of up to 10 hours.

Assembly and connection

The batteries are accessible in the back of the robot and can be replaced.

To change a battery during operation, press the main switch briefly (1 sec), Robotino takes 20 seconds of both batteries power. Then disconnect the empty battery by pressing the two green side buttons on the battery. The battery can now be pulled out to the rear.

When empty, the empty batteries can be charged with the Festool TCL 6 or SCA 8 quick chargers.

A fully charged battery can be reconnected during operation by simply sliding it into the provided guides until it clicks into place.

Technical Documentation

A minimum of one battery is required for operation. However, it can be upgraded for the maximum runtime with up to 4 batteries with 2 batteries replaceable during run time as hot-swap.
