Function
The electric gripper is fully integrated into the Robotino platform, so there is no need to monitor collisions with the gripper while driving. The gripper recognizes workpieces between the gripper jaws by means of an integrated light barrier. A slide is integrated to pick up a workpiece from a supporting surface, the Robotino signals the optimum position for the gripping process. The end positions of the gripper are checked by evaluating the motor current.
