The Robotino control unit contains the control board with the embedded PC and the microcontroller as well as the corresponding interfaces.

Attention: Only open the control unit case if you want to insert an expansion card into one of the PCI Express slots. Then you must also pay attention to the connection cable of the main switch, as this can be damaged otherwise.
